BANDITS WIN AAA FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

After knocking off the Mississippi DirtBags earlier in the day, the Bandits came from behind twice in Sunday's championship game against the 12U Sliders, eventually prevailing in the contest 8-7 and winning the Mississippi USSSA AAA Fall State Championship in the process.
The victory capped a three-win weekend for the Bandits and earned the team its first ever state title. The championship win also completed the Bandits' schedule for the 2007 calendar year, leaving the team with a final record of 37-17-4. Since moving up from AA last June, the Bandits have put together a 7-3 record against AAA competition.
